"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

And yes, it was a young kid that bought a bike for $2,000, running and riding, and pulled apart everything imaginable.

I figure a $1000 bill can take her home.

Not sure what I think about how this went down J-Rod... if you would of posted this in the look what I bought thread, I would pay a grand no problem, but here you post it like someone should go get it, I show interest and you want to double up on a customer.

Your dead to me.

I'm thinking I'm going to stick it all back together and get her running again.

I only posted it after the guy wouldn't call/text me back. Figured it was gone.

Called and asked for pics, didn't send me any.

"Yes I have lots of pics, but none are recent, one bike is red, other is black, powdercoated frame, lots of polished metal, parts bike is stock color, missing body parts, red and black bike are in good shape, been sitting for 12 years."

haha ive got a kz550 "chopper" at home that's even more of an abomination than that one. Literally the hardtail is 1" rebar.

Rebar FTW!!

I can without doubt say I have tied at least a million feet of rebar (steel and fiberglass) from 1/4" in pools to 2.5" in power plant pedestals. I did a house on a cliff, one story in front and five in the back, 12" thick 5000 psi double 3/4 rebar mats in the walls and floors... you could roll it down the mountain and it would stay in one chunk.
