"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I'd offer $1500 at most. Non running, needs to come completely apart for paint and it's only a 500 not a 650. The bolt on hard tail is a plus, because it can be removed and put back stock.

Stock they made about the same power as a CB350 or any modern 250, so not as desirable as a 650 even back in the day. Not bad commuter bikes. Mine was a cafe racer after the first cafe racer fashion had ebbed and it was not as much fun as a pre-unit 500, probably because they looked like a small bike by comparison.

I can attest to the Suby motor... I had a DL: with one  and I have a 2016 now with two more holes and a lot of worthless wires :-[

My Seeley was fairly bad.
Well it is still ugly.

Should dig it out of the shop and get it on the road for the season
