"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Shit. That guy's 920 is way cooler than mine.

(note: for purposes of this conversation, "cooler" should be read as "heavier")
looks like Bradj's welding on the tank.

How do you manage to do a top end rebuild with doing the cam timing!!!

Should read.... "will not start after top end rebuild because all the valves are bent now" haha

Looks like someone lost their wheelie bar and rear fender and couldn't afford to replace it and labeled it a 'bobber.' They did go all out and spraybomb some nice flat black

Thats horrible my friend just sold the exact bike that was almost pristine shape with 10000 miles on it for $1800. Just because some moron hacks up a bike they seem to think its made of gold. That's like drawing a hitler stache on the Mona Lisa and then raising the price... STOOOOOOOOOOOOPID!!

I've been saying this for years. Until I came to this site, quality builds we're few and far apart, just some ass gasket chopping stuff off a decent bike. I got to the point I was running around buying up old bikes to get them home, make them run and give them a good home. Unfortunately, my finances are finite, so I can only afford 3-4 bikes at a time. I can't save them all, luckily I belong to several sites that have gentlemen like yourselves, that save and get these bikes in great shape. I'm not against choppers, bobbers, cafés, just badly done bikes that are not only fugly (I know that's subjective) but hacked up and unsafe......

I think I am going to offer $175 for the Hondobber and ride that puppy around Vintage Days this year. First one to snap it in half gets to burn it in the night's bonfire in the campgrounds . . . RIP.

I'm in.

That is some truly interesting work on the forward controls. I will hold my tongue on the rest as I may have a sillier Virago than he does :O

This one is a real winner in my book.

$3500 and you don't even get mufflers?
