I like this part: "Does not run but did when I last drove it."

Could be worth it in parts, if it's in ABQ pipes might be in decent shape. And there's a good salvage yard in ABqQ that has a few 305s in the yard (and some NOS parts inside...).

SW Cycles. The key there is to talk to the older guys, not the younger guy they hired to try to move some of their shit. He's a talker, and tried to charge me some crazy prices for rinky dink shit. The third time I went I went with the guy who owns the property -- my friend's dad -- and we sat and BSed for an hour before walking the yard. This contributed to my better prices, I'm pretty sure. But they had a NOS kicker for a 305, in the plastic.

The one on Broadway was closed when I was in ABQ last Spring. Pretty sure it's gone.

That 305 is near the end of the model run. The last bikes had the candy paint, chrome fenders and the oval taillight. I don't think it's worth $1K, but looks about 90% so it would be a good restoration candidate.
