"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I could ride this . . .

A lot of work went into this Café. Not only did he have to remove the original bars, he had to install new ones. Brand new fork boots too, so you won't have to rebuild the forks.

It is a pretty bike, however.

So I can't tell if this is a stock version of a silverwing, or a conversion, but it isn't bad looking. It has been on there for months.

Yes it is and I would recognize that exhaust anywhere.
I remember seeing a picture of that exhaust and thinking wow he put a muffler on a motorcycle.

I like it! I haven't seen it around town, that's not a bike I would forget. If I didn't have a full garage and had some money...

Sorry, I have a thing against Goldwings -- IMHO they're fugly as all get out. Graffiti in Seattle's Comet Tavern years ago: "Remember when Goldwings were sexy? Me neither." But all you need to do to make this a stunning café is add clubmans -- it's already got a café seat, and all unnecessary bits stripped... Yes, if you're wondering, those are "café style" floorboards...

That is a muscle bike. It doesn't say it would be pretty - but it would spank most of the bikes here

Didn't say it wasn't fast, and I don't give a shit how fast it is. I thought this thread was supposed to be making fun of people advertising their bikes on CL as cafes? This one says "just add clubmans"...
