Goodness, thought you knew more....the gases from the engine travel through that pipe you see, then into the bottom of the muffler. Then they come out that hole on top......

Hard for me to tell from the shitty picture if it's that old, but if it is, it's missing the best parts (tank, seat, HL bucket). I had someone pull the bait-and-switch with me like this, swearing he had a 69 CB750, but he put a 69 neck tag on 78. They're laughably different, but I walked away with it and boxes of parts for $200. Damn bike took off a fingertip months later.

I don't like it at all. Everything leans too much towards the front. A hard stop and you slide right into tank (or worse yet, right over top of tank). No muffler, so probably runs like crap. Seat looks like its just resting on frame as afterthought. Cheap eBay shocks. Big ass lead acid battery sitting there in the breeze. This could be way better with a few mods.
