for the seat,weight of rider and passenger on said seat, that is all, not doing anything to take suspension loads in any way whatsoever,there is a crossmember just ahead of the top shock mounts,that is all that is needed to stabalize the rear section(and it does nothing for suspension loads either)
so with a solo seat anything behind the top shock mounts is totally not needed no compromise in strength
this is a widely accepted myth that a rear frame loop creates some magic structural strength that is needed for suspendsion loads, total bullshit
