Well I think I understand why the guys that built these bikes was only in business a short time. ::)

Gotta love that fairing!

In all fairness, the guy who built the bike didn't put bags and a fairing on it.

It looks worse without them, the vetter/roadglide nose was a poor choice post 2010 sharks maybe, just not a bagger and never will be.

Here... its kinda like making a Ferrari out of a Fiaro but turbo this:

Ah, he's three hours from me. And, I'm heading to Memphis in a couple weeks for a couple nights on Beale St. Hope he still has it.

Just hack a seat off and "puff" café racer\

This bike was for sale by dtt member cx500d for $2250. Are you getting $7250 more value for your money? Or perhaps he knew not to bet the farm on a bobber. Ebay guy even admits it doesn't run great. Might be the pods on a cv carb hmmm.

That's fucking insane. And to claim that an old bike can't be a start-on-the-first-try bike is bullshit.

I'm not sure what would be more terrifying, (a) actually being able to go 125 on this bike (2.5 times faster than stock), or (b) going to the tweaker shack it looks like this is being kept at

All BS aside... I would go in there with an XDS45 and $500 cash and steal that shit away... Nice little scoot!

I guess the crowd is moving on from CB's to Honda Trails... ::)

Listing that with the Schwinn should tell you everything you need to know about his target crowd.

True. Makes me think about getting my dads old '69 Panther out when the weather turns. Just to ride it though, not to hack it up. He also has a unicycle and told me during a news cast of "Local Talent" (in east Columbus in the 70's) that his buddy and him rode their unicycles through the shot of someone dancing and were holding signs that read "Thing 1" and "Thing 2"... Now those phrases are on Walmart graphic tees. Oh! They also had gorilla masks on if I'm remembering the story correctly.. Wish I could have seen that!

Basically a 73 RD350 with title less motor for $450, I'm not looking for one or I would look into it... you guys that need the parts and more importantly a titled frame, here it is:

What in the flying fuck?! Apparently this jack ass thinks he's on the same Level as Arlen Ness? Who the fuck would spend $10K on a "rebuilt bike" that doesn't even run right?! What the hell is this world coming to?

And then you have this Superbike wannabe claiming 120mph on a "55cc race bike". Really? 120mph? There isn't ONE SINGLE piece of performance anywhere on that scoot. I'd be surprised if it still did 45mph, not to mention it looks like it's probably stolen. Well, that was a great early Sunday morning laugh. :)
