As dangerous as it may be, I like it.

I can't stand when people say " Well what do you expect with a (insert age of bike) year old bike".

Hey my bikes are all pushing 40 years and they don't look like that.

My dad and I collect a brand of vintage snowmobiles called Boa Ski. Honestly they did almost everything wrong during manufacturing in the early days (early 70's) besides the hand grips. For some reason those things held up to anything and they were molded right onto the bars with their insignia on them. Most classified ads we see say something along the lines of "rough shape but still has the ORIGINAL BOA SKI MOLDED GRIPS." and then followed by "rough shape but what do expect for a 45 year old sled" haha I expect alot more than hand grips =p

However, that may be a good deal for 300 bucks, or hipster wall art, or a hipster coffee table or whatever.

That is a pretty cool tank though. I'd give $75 for it if it could be sealed up inside ok.

I agree, definitely some potential! Just don't use the excuse that because it's old we should hold it to a lesser standard. My opinion of course. ;D

No better way to pick up chicks than with a custom paint job. . . Maybe I'm just not hip anymore. ::)

Another Steve McQueen bike? This one, however, lacks provenance... as far as I can tell.

If these sell, I'm going to start throwing these on the mill and drilling random holes.

Forget the mill. for those random patterns you can use a hand drill!! haha that's great stuff... or better yet a 22 long rifle..

Carpy doesn't sell anything that is marked up 5x it's worth. I bought a nifty headlight with integrated speedo for like $120 a while back. It was a bit of a rip-off but I knew it at the time and wanted it anyway. Lousy build quality BTW. Anyways, I went back to his site a few months later and they were up to $260.

Sounds like you got in just in time.

I've stopped running a traditional speedo. I'm in the process of designing a mount to machine for my current build that will hold my phone. Have GPS/Speedo in one.

Nice.. doing the same with mine. Free speedo app and a lifeproof case on my phone, I figured why not. The only downfall is that the speedo app sucks the battery down super quick... may have to run a charger off the battery too.
