Right, nice bike, but they'll never get that kind of $$ for it around here! Doesn't say anything about frame mods either.

That is really nice. It is a clean almost stock build with few modifications. Has longer shocks and pipes and an extra disk and that's about it. It seems a little high even for that level of build, but who knows what the market will stand.

I have to agree with you and ridesolo as well. I am also from Central Ohio, and at least around here those bikes don't demand that kind of money. Not taking away from what the bike is, I just still cant see 11k. I would sure love to have one of those ol smokers though!

Aye, there's the rub; does the market sustain this price? Should a restored like new vintage bike cost the same/more as an equivalent new machine? The new Yamaha fz07 is 75hp and costs less than this yet is all new parts built with modern technology.

They make brand new Dodge Hemi Challengers for less than a 1970 Hemi Challenger at up to $1M so I guess as stated in the past "it's worth what someone will pay for it" and that's it. People store a huge passion for these, a memory an old girlfriend... who knows, but if the right person comes along it might bring double, but not form me!

Well if $11,500 is too much for an H2, I'm guessing $13,500 is more like the right price. http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/mcy/4896218288.html
At least this one is pretty much bone stock with low miles...

Unfortunately, overpriced far outnumbers underpriced...

Yeah its preference, some want stock and some want brats and cafe bikes. I bet some of our parents liked polka when we listened to led zeplin, I like em all if done with some taste and functionality, but at my age and comfort zone I prefer to ride upright and sit on at least 2" of foam. The good thing is these kids are doing something even if its not everyones cup of coffee

I agree as well, and very well said. It was my preference that I liked it before a little better, not that it wouldn't make a rad custom done up, It just makes me sad when ppl give up and leave em half way like that... Not that I have not been guilty of that myself! =P

Kind'a my point. All he did was tear it apart.

I agree, see it through or don't start... I have had to sell something to buy my way out of a mess when I was young and pitiful so I can relate if he's selling for a reason and not just chasing the next squirrel/Bang Bang. lol

The sad part is not only did he drop the ball, he took a very nice condition, running original bike that someone would have paid 3000 for hands down and tore it up then left it to rot.
