Cripes! How many cans of black spray do you think went into that contraption? The second pic must be the 'before' shot! Should have left the wheels red.

WOW.. that is WICKED!!... Totally what a bike should look like.

Almost looks like my old Cutlass

I think Im gonna do my cb750 all in rattle can Matte Black and do the spokes in black w. the chrome rims...
MAN.. I love that greyish overspray on the tank and covers!!..

Why would you think that the 2nd pic is the "before" pic?

Well let's see... red wheels, silver tank.. unless he stripped the black rattlecan off, it's definitely the before pic.

well, the rims could have been painted red,(or stripped back to original), that silver/grey on the tank looks like it is a rattlecan spray overlay on top of the black paint and it even looks like it was overlayed on the existing red stripe as well...and even on the side of the seat

I think the second pic is the "After" pic!!.. ;D

Any way to confrim the owner? on the 650motorcycles.com site?

I'll bet you the usual wager, (a pack of 20..timbits that is), that the second pic is the after pic....any 20..timbits that you want.. I'll even make it interesting... I'll double it to any 40 timbits & a coffee!.. any coffee you want..ANY!!

that's bada55! definitely lot's more can be done to pimp that out. so what's the minimum cc's requirement to be able to pull a side car for a 4 stroke?

email sent to Ron...now its just a waiting game... ;D

Well, Here is the answer direct from Ron, the owner of the bike:

Hi Noel,
Regarding the wager as to which is the before and after pic, the one with the red wheels is the 'after', but only by a matter of a couple of days. The bike has gone through many iterations, from original factory chrome and gloss black to an all matte black rat bike to a neo-camo military rig to the current café racer/rat bike motif that it currently enjoys. The wheels were sprayed black when the bike was in it all matte black ratbike mode. I mean everything was black, even the motor. Also, regarding some of the comments on the paint job, there is no silver/gray overspray on the bike's tank. The gray/silver effect on the tank is an artifact of lighting. On the first pic, I did, however, noticed there was some 'leftover' OD green on the front of the frame that has long since been painted flat black. The tank, sidecar, etc. is now matte black with burgundy accents and sharks teeth. ;-) The burgundy stripes were laid over the flat black. The tires were simply masked off with a roll of southern USA chrome (duct tape) and sprayed with a can or two of paint. Below are a couple of links regarding the bike. The latter link has a few more pictures of earlier iterations.

Too, check out http://www.ratbike.org/ for, well, ratbikes. Cool website.
Again, to settle the bet, the picture with the red wheels is the latter, but only by a matter of a couple of days.
Also, please send responses to this email, if any, to clickfam@charter.net.

Take care!

Ron

And it looks like the second pic is in fact the "after" picture!!!!... WOHOOOOO!!!... I win!! ;D
