Hey Guys Ive been making some badges/emblems on the cnc machine.

More stuff coming soon but heres what Ive come up with so far... all cut out of billet 6061-t6 aluminum and then polished and where in color ive painted and then lacquered them as well.

Norton style :

I'm digging these, especially the Norton one. 3 dimensional badges look way better than vinyl or painted on logos IMO.

Here's an idea - it would be cool if you could layer the piece in such a way that the base of the emblem would fit into the stock badge indentation and use the stock (or slightly longer) emblem screws but have a completely differently design for the top layer. I know that it's probably a lot of work compared to just filling in the emblem indentation and gluing the emblem on but it might be nice for people who don't want to do bodywork on a nice stock tank. I bet a triumph style badge like below would look cool using this method. I'd definitely buy a set at least.

Well anythings possible - we are using laser cut 3m tape on the rear to keep the badges held on at the moment but could easily drill holes for bolts or weld on tabs or what not.

Like I said anythings possible

These look outstanding. What file types can you use to plug into the CNC machine? Can they be simple vector files, or do they have to be a CAD, or solidworks file?
What are you attaching them to the tank with? Any plans on selling these? That SOHC 1 would look great on my cb200 tank ;D

You can send a simple vector and I can convert it in a couple of minutes to the path of the cutting tool on the mill its not a problem.
CAD files of any sort also welcome.
These flat badges attach to the tank or panel by means of 3M automotive tape which we cut with a laser to the same profile as the badges - they come with one side stuck on the badge and the other with the sheaf ready to be pealed off so you can apply the badge to the tank.

SOHC is $30 delivered
HM Honda badges are $44 delivered

Not only awesome... its good quality. I've received my honda badges... 4 days to get to canada. I don't know if you know that, but thats super fast!

Mine had a little defect on one wing, but I like to had that Sam had it resoved quickly. Just wanna say thanks to Sam and his team for such great work and great after service support!

that is sick! i made these up a few years ago for the forum

Ah Tim sent me them a while back back to do a DTT XS650 alternator for him and (with his permission) perhaps a few to sell on the forum. Im just getting round to it now actually.

This is the cad of the cb360 cover

I can easily make these or similiar if anyone is interested as have already machined out the blanks. I made a few tweaks for better fitment on the underside since the above cad and the actual production.
