So my bike got knocked over and im looking for a replacement (yay insurance coverage) tank with knee dents. I can find several fiberglass tanks in the style im looking for but I remember reading something about they should only be used on the track or something....
Thoughts? or a source on a knee dented steel tank sub $500?
Also its a cb750k2, what other models tanks will fit it?
The first one I did the dents my self but its really a PITA, and ive moved so no work shop.
Cb350f tanks are totally rad. Not too expensive if you buy one with some rust and a few dents and then restore it. No need to get a hammer with this tank, it has knee indents already please!
For the CB750, one of the best options is the 77/78 CB750F tank. It has subtle indentations at the knee and should sit on the frame with little trouble.
