CALLING ALL MASTER FABRUCATORS

DT250 project in the works!
Hey guys, i need someone who could build me a down pipe expansion chamber for my 1975 Yamaha DT250B.
I want to give it a bit more power and more engine room. The stock pipe goes over the head and it would make working on the engine impossible without taking eerything off lol
Here is a pic of what im kinda looking for.

Pipe fabrication for 2 strokes is a complicated tasks. Takes knowledge and alot of calculation to get a custom fabbed chamber to maximize the power.

I believe there are actual programs that can calculate and design one for you after plugging in a bunch of numbers.

This is a pretty good explantion of 2 stroke exhaust theory

I've seen people use this program to

Have you ever priced custom expansion chambers? That pipe will cost as much as you paid for the bike.

That DT motor in whatever that frame is makes it look like a toy.
If you aren't wanting to keep that stock one, get a stock pipe from an earlier model. My '72 pipe runs down the side, I like the looks.
