Campgrounds near Barber?

Been Around the Block
I was curious if any of you know of any campgrounds close to Barber? We are coming in from Charleston, SC and are looking for a campground with water/power hook up for a small camper and somewhat of a nice ride to get to Barber.. We have done the hotel thing before, but would rather be outdoors and relaxing next to a fire. I have found a couple of places, but they seem to be closed...Thanks!

Not aware of anything surrounding Barber, but you can camp inside Barber if you're interested. They have everything from full RV hook-ups to tent camping. You'd have to check with their website for availability though.

I had seen they offer camping, but no water/electric hook up. I also think that they don't allow campfires too. I would also like to ride to the show each day too. Thanks for the info! If I come across anything...I will be sure to post.

My apologies. I've never camped at the track, but I thought I saw that they had hook-ups on the website.

I'm sure somebody will chime in soon. There are a few guys on here that live in the area ;)

They do have full hook ups at Barber, but those spots get grabbed up as soon a they announce the dates. They're pretty pricey anyway. They do allow camp fires, they just have to be off of the ground. I have used a cheap-o campfire stand thingie from Big Lots. No problems from officials.

I live about 20 minutes from barber there is a camp ground in our town on the lake I will check and see the prices for you the have hook ups for everything

That's awesome! I appreciate it...Thanks!
The place I was talking about is 27.50 a night for a water front camp site or 25.00 for non-waterfront
