Can I flush through my cad tank with petrol!!!

So I'm soaking my fuel tank in vinegar which seems to be working vary well , loosening all sorts of crap . My question is...... Instead of flushing it through with mineral water ( so bloody exspencive in the uk) can I flush it with uncontaminated fuel ??? I know this may seem like a exspencive option but I have some lying about .

Yes. Any solvent would work to flush out the vinegar - varsol, thinner, kerosene, fuel, diesel etc. WD-40 or two stroke oil after to keep it from flash rusting..
