My dad passed a few years ago just as I was getting into bikes. I have an old picture of him on his bike but I don't know make/model/year.

Can anyone ID the bike for me?

Not an AJS. It is a BSA A65 with a tacho, single sided 8" front brake and twin carbs so that makes it a Lightning I think.
