carb questions

Look for 28mm or 30mm
26mm works well if you don't intend to use max rpm

sudco, carb warehouse or you could try keihin pwk knock offs from jrc...they are sold as amal replacements(vintage brit bikes) and work really good, i have used them on small bore ducati's with good luck......30 or 26 mm available- about $110 or so each...
you would need to make a spliter cable -no close cable if one is used ...

Oh, don't believe anyone who says carbs are properly jetted, they are not jetted for road use

what ya talking about willis? ha ha.....
pj not sure what/who your talking about here?
NO carb will be properly jetted out of the box unless your lucky or they prejet it for a specific alt, temp, etc.
if your refering to the pwk's being properly jetted for honda your right- i doubt it. but a great alternative to mikuni if your willing to set them up......
if your talking about them being properly jetted for brit bikes(bsa, tri 650's) they are sold for your wrong....they have a great track record of being very close from the box and we(jrc and dealers) include proper jets to start with for the specific bike you own but in my experience of selling about 50 of them - not one complaint, only raves about how well the bike starts, runs, idles, accelerates etc (guys on britbike.com who have used them all like them also)...i installed one on a wide case 250 duc and i only had to go down a few sizes on the main to make it work good....plus price, parts availability is great also-peronally i have been sold on them...

Most places say they are correctly jetted for CB360, (Sudco, SFL, etc)
As you know, they are not even close

so a 30 mm carb will work ok thanks and also i was looking for a kit bc the bike i got didnt come with any carb stuff like the linkage for the throttle if there is one ? thats why im looking for a kit

you have a few options if you use seperate mikuni or keihins carbs and no linkage...use a cable with a junction housing and then a british throttle control with seperate button for the starter. or you can go with two cables and a twin british throttle housing.....they are relatively inexpensive 15-20usd and also look great! i use kill switches modified to remove the red button and locate a kill switch somewhere else also.....one last thing is there are a few different kill/start set ups so you will need the proper start button set up which we can help you with....joe
