Carb recomendation?

I'm looking for suggestions for a modern carb to replace the Mikuni CV on my thumper.

I've pretty much had it with CV carbs, after multiple issues with the Zenith Stromberg unit on my Triumph. The one I have works fine and if its the best choice, I'm okay keeping it. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with carb swapping on a big single.

The GN400? Retrofit the fuel injection from a DRZ....... Kidding man.

I'm thinking you could get a Mikuni VM36 to work. Maybe look at what carbs guys are running on SR500's.

I've only had SP 370 (slide carb) and SP400 (CV carb)
If the CV is working, keep it
If you really want to change carbm fit the smallest one you can find off an HD 883 Sportster (still CV but parts available)
It will be jetted just about right and has accelerator pump
Head will really need porting and could do with a bigger intake valve
