CB 125 Cylinder & Piston on a CB 100 Bottom?

No head modifications required for an overbore rebuild.

Just because the valves leak does not necessarily mean that you have to replace them. Usually, they can be reground unless badly burned or bent.

Yep, not bent, pretty sure. I'm just going to clean them, reseat and see what happens.

They don't seem to have any side to side play in them while in the guides. (although its quite hard to really see any movement)

Perhaps I won't mess with those at this time either.

There are some nicks on the edges.....I'll post some pictures when I get home from work tonight.

Ok, got the valves out and wired the head. Has a lot of nicks and cuts......is this salvageable?

Looks pretty rough. I would take it to a machine shop and see if they can do a valve job on it. They could make a better determination than I can from pictures.
 
The valves are not the problem. They can simply be reground as you would normally do for a valve job. The question is whether the valve seats are resurfaceable.
 
Ordered and recieved a new piston, rings, piston pin and clips.

Went with .050 over just to be on the safe side, cause the cylinder looks to have a lot of scarring.....considering I had to use a bfh to get the piston out of it.

Machine shop is next on the agenda.

Although this thing has been pushed to the back burner, due to engine swap in my truck, replacing the pin in the brake rod on the 750.

Damn thing fell out one day at work. Scared the bajeebees out of me when I went to pull the brakes on and had no rear brake. Thank God for the front brake. Wheeeeew.
