thanks man! The tanks is the stock 125 just extended with fiberglass, then painted it to try to mimick raw aluminum. Here is a link to the build with some progress shots of the tank, it was suprisingly easy to do. http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=15956.0

How exactly did you extend it? I looked at your build thread but still have questions. What did you put underneath the fiberglass as an extension or did you build up three inches of glass?
Also did you make the tail out of foam and then cover it.

I first fiberglassed the back 1/2 of the tank, then removed it, used that shell as the extention played with its positioning then first bondoed it to the tank then glassed over the whole extension plus about 3inches passed over the raw metal tank. for the tail I used part of a front fender from a goldwing and a pan made by covering the portion of the frame where the seat sits and glassing over that.

nice work. Is that the filter for the breather near the seat? that is a good idea and adds a little something to the bike
