Bike was running when I got it.but head gasket was leaking.also found two bolts that hold cam down were stripped .so having those done at local engineering place.bores and pistons look good .so just going to re grind valves .and put back together. Had a seat made by a local guy .also doing break upgrade with 900f calipers. Had head light hydro dipped in carbon pattern also had front mud guard made buy same guy who did seat .brought some rear sets .and a few other bits
It took a lot longer than i hoped for as i have no lighting in my garage, so could only work in the summer plus i had a few holidays and a month in new zealand. I had to have a break from it for a few months it became obsessive ha ha ha ha ha. Took best part of 2 years i was in no rush to finish as have another bike to ride.
Just jumped into ya thread yozzer looking good so far loving the carbon dip stuff 8) that tank would be awesome sure aint gonna be cheap tho were abouts are you ime in Leeds made my own seat last time sewing and everything ha check my first ever project in cb350f 1st project agh ! could do with sharing local services you use
small world mate got my project bike ime doing at moment from Barnsley ime trying to build a mike Hailwood replica race bike couldn't find a 500f at right price so jumped for a 550f seems a long way off from been done but at least I got her running before I stripped down didn't do it on my first ever project newb mistake that was hahaha I drop into Sherburn café a fair bit got an xt660r for general bobbing about or when its decent weather on the 350f the 350 gives the biggest grin factor tho ;D your gonna love your project when its done give me a shout if ya need Q & A's always here for tips etc
