Here's a new seat build for a '73 CB 350 F.
I'd like to thank everyone who has posted pictures and writeups of their own seat builds on this site. That has been all the inspiration and instruction I've needed for this project thus far. Up to this point everything has gone pretty well but I've come to a point where I need some advice.
I made up a "frame" of 3/4" plywood and then filled in the open spaces with that "great stuff" expanding foam in a can. It went pretty well, but, after i shaped the foam, it shrank. I went ahead anyway and covered the foam with tape and made a papier mache mock up. Everything fine there.
I'm going to pull out the old foam and replace it with green "craft foam". It's less spongy than the expanding stuff and won't shrink. Herre's my question, what can I cover the mold with so that the fiberglass won't stick to it?
