CB125 front brake issues

Got a 1974 CB the other day. Mostly decent condition but the front brake has a couple of apparent things wrong with it. First off it has no cable, no big deal. But I do need to know the compatibility of these.

The other thing is the the left side "case cover" if you will, isn't there. And I'm wondering if there's other things missing? There's a bunch of rings inside, some of which are loose. Anyone mind posting a pic of their cb's brake?

Also, the front brake on the 125 is garbage. Throw it away, get a modern single piston hydraulic caliper (something from a pit bike would work great), and make it work.

He was asking a reasonable question so that he COULD HELP YOU. If you want to be a self centered smart ass, go somewhere else. If you want to actually recieve help from the membership of DTT (for a simple problem you should be able to fix yourself) than have some goddamn respect for those who take time to HELP YOU.

I wasn't trying to harrass you. I was trying to point out that there was no reason to be shitty to someone who was trying to HELP YOU. You decided to keep the asshole train rolling by then being a dick to me as well. All for no goddamned reason.

You say you were trying to help the community. Well, try actually treating the members of that community with some common respect and courtesy first. I don't know you personally obviously. You could be a good dude. But the way you've reacted to this thread makes me doubt that.
