Been Around the Block
So this bike was originally a cafe racer that i built a while back. Which was then sold to my brother who rode it for a while, who then dreamt of making i a bobber, sold it back to me and im making it a bobber.
The Gs400 is at a stand still and i need something to quickly make and ride until the Gs is done. heres where im at!

Re: CB125 bobber.

Ordered a bunch of parts lastnight, will be on their way soon. Including a cb350 stator from quebec, a capacitator and taillight from lowbrow. (capacitator cause the cb is way to small for a battery, plus its only kickstart so why bother with a battery?
My buddy is about to come over and help work on this, hopefully getting alot done tonight!

Re: CB125 bobber.

I am cycle slavages best customer. I even have my own discount now! sweet! There is a huge sign in the main showroom, that says "Jacob from Lakefield gets discount" Thought that was pretty sweet. Managed to come home with a bunch of electrical parts, new throttle and a kickstart lever, all for $5!

I was originally gunna call my GS400 the shot but, it suites the cb125 better, i mean its small, just like a shot of J.D. (personal preference really ;) )

haha i have some drag bars if you want em! Im just trying to get rid of the 8 pairs of exact same bars i have lol

Here is a mod for all the Cb 100 and 125 riders. Ever found your front suspension really soft? Here is a FREE mod that only takes a half hour.

Stock front end:

Take the stock rear suspension and take the springs off of them, i just used a hacksaw to cut it apart:

Make sure you catch the oil!:

The finished product, the springs from the back are the same length as the ones on the front:

I like those alot!! I've been looking at similar aftermarket bars, but they're so damn expensive. I'm gonna have to dig around and see if I can find a set.

shouldnt be too hard, depending where you live, although where the sled grips go it has like a diamond pattern cut into the handlebars, to hold the grips firmly. It files off easy though

Got alot of work done today, tank is fully mounted, fender the same. However the bike fell over and broke my brake lever.... The 8.95 perches from Dime city kinda suck, sure they arnt supposed to be dropped, but it was only the frame and handlebars on it... I probably just got a bad egg

I did some searching today for a pair of those bars and nobody has anything. Unfortunately I live in Iowa, where we don't get enough snow to really utilize sleds. I'll keep looking though. If you stumble across another pair please let me know.

I can get you a pair asap. I have a scrap sled yard around here, there are like 20 pairs in total. $20 + whatever shipping is, however i live in ontario, unless you dont mind
