Cb125 to 12 volt

I know you need the 350 stator, but do you need to get a 12 volt rectifier? i heard the 6volt one works fine. Someone chime in please!

Yeah,
Go down to radio shack and get a 12V 50A rectifier.
Solid state and far superior to the stock rectifier. And its only 3 bucks.

Sweet! but i dont have radio shack in canada, the source work? any how to's on putting one in? i remember reading about it but i forget

Also does it matter what year 350 stator goes in it?

I'm not sure on the stator.
The rectifier is cake though. Just plug the AC wires from the stator into the + and - and then a power and ground wire.
There's write ups somewhere
