1973 cb125

I am selling a 1973 Honda single cylinder four stroke cb125 street motorcycle. It is a five speed that tops out around highway speeds depending on rider weight, (70-85mph)
it runs but currently is not “ridable” I rode it here to my house about 5 miles or so when I moved in but I know it needs floats and jets (or a new carb, VM22 around 60$) and a condenser, which I have. I also have a new NOS Honda air filter, and the fork seals to be replaced. I bought a new 6v battery when I got this and tried to repair the old carb. I also stripped and sealed the gas tank as it had some rust (POR-15 tank sealing kit NOT KREEM) and replaced the tires and tubes with Michelin gazelles brand new.
I got in touch with the last registered owner and went through the DMV to get a new title, Not a recovery or theft or Lien, just a replacement title which I now have in my hand, clear, and in my name.

The good
Low miles 3500 or so
5 speed
great on gas
easy parts availability from Asia as these are still sold there for cheap
some new parts including uninstalled fork seals and air filter.
A complete bike original with blinkers, bars, seat, side covers, air box, battery holder, taillight (cracked have replacement), tachometer and speedo, the only thing it is missing is a front fender and side stand.
Heck it even has the Honda toolbox with tools inside a roll up case!!!!!

The bad
Needs repair/tuning of carb or a new carb
Needs condenser switched out (pretty simple job two wires)
Also I am not positive but it looks like the ignition switch may have been replaced at some point. I do have a key though that says HONDA and operates the ignition on the bike.
Missing the kickstand but does have an easy to use center stand (its only a 125, light!)
The kick start arm was stripped when I got it, I tried to weld it on but failed. If you have a MIG welder perhaps you can try again, or just race/run start it!! Again it is only a 125 and will turn over pretty easily in second.

$650 Firm
I am offering a couple of bikes for sale and the first one to sell is it, So I am firm on the price and not interested in any trades. I have done my best to describe the motorcycle to the best of my ability, let me know if you have any other specific questions.

Thanks
I will remove the ad as soon as it is sold, respond via email.

[/size]I just copied the craigslisting but i may make a better deal to a DTT member if it looks like the best way to finance my trip, but only if nothing else sells.

update, i swapped out the condenser and the coil with a proper newer one, and it runs much better now.
rode around the other day for a half hour with the lady on back, also i tightened the fuel bowl on the petcock and that doesnt leak and the carbs have not overflowed at all. perhaps it was a petcock problem not a float problem.
anyway.
bumps

still got this... had some PMs and some interest but none put the cash in the hand yet, soooo.......

lets just get this back on the first page here.

the floats eventually did fail again, the sauter was just not a good fix, so new carb or new floats at least, running well last time i rode it across town to show someone.

I also failed to mention i have another cb125 from 1980 motor that will go with this bike that has a good kickstart lever and maybe some other parts you will need eventually like a points plate or a head or crank, who knows but you can have it with the bike, I unbolt and you pick up.
