Cb175 Fork tubes.

I have a '73 cb175 and like most of the other i see the fork tubes are shot. They work fine but loook terrible. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I'd like to remove the headlight ears and run bare uppers but i can't seem to find any. thanks

Do you want to replace them or just clean them up?

I'd like to replace them or use a new front end from another model. I just want them to look nice and i'm sick of worrying about it. Thanks again.

You can check out www.batemansracing.com. which will have a link to Group W racing. They talk about how the 175 forks suck and the 160 forks are so much better. Might be able to find one of a 200 but I'm not sure how well everything fits together.

If your forks are pitted to hell (just guessing) you could try cleaning/polishing/painting but make sure you don't destroy them just in case!
