Cb200 help pleeeease

So I'm a little stuck again. Putting things back together have found that the pyramid parts steering bearing was the wrong size , the guys are happy to change it over but I have no callipers etc to find out the dimensions. Dose any one know the part number from them or have the dimensions to help?

If I'm not mistaken, the cb175 and maybe the CB125 (and the Cl variants) use the same steering stem bearings as the 200's. If you can find those sizes, you should be good.

That's all I've got........

Re: Cb200 help pleeeease

I should be able to tell you when I get home, however that will not be until tomorrow sept 6th. Are you using tapered bearings? If so they are hard to find. I could only find one place that made them. I can get you that info also if you need it.

Cyclefreak that would be spectacular I would appreciate it a lot thank you :)

Well I was not able to find the size of the bearings afterall. I thought I had written them down. Anyway I got replacement bearings (tapered roller) from Les Barker,. He is a great guy to do buisness with. His website is VINTAGEADVANTAGEMOTORCYCLES.COM. E-mail is vintrace@comcast.net. and phone# is (360)699-4964. he is ouit of Vancouver Washington. Just hit him up and tell him ehat you've got/need and he will hook you up. He does make the bearing kits himself. The bearing kit that you got that was the wrong size is probably for a 76 or later model. The 74 and 75 had a odd size only used for those two years (my understanding anyway) and due to low demand aftermarket companies just quit making them. I actually ended up with a bearing kit that did not fit also that came from All Balls before I found out about Les. Anyway good luck if there is anything else I can help out with don't hesitate ask. Jared.

Dime city cycles has a kit that "fits all CB's", is this what you're looking for?

That's not possible...

Yeah... But one single set of bearings can't possibly work for every cb/cl model ever. Just look at the earlier posts in this thread. The 200 uses two different sets depending on the year. I know my old cb125 doesn't use the same bearings as the cb750k front end I have in the garage.

They can't. It probably means "most", rather than "all". CB350, 750, 77 etc are all the same, but little bikes - not the same IIRC.
