Cb200 "Hephaestus"

He is also using the stock airfilter duct to attach the pods to the carburetors. This eliminates any shrouding of the vacuum ports or inlets.

I used to do the same setup with with a Uni brand filter when I ran the stock carbs on my 175.

But -- that thread is a good read...

Well I guess a filter blocking a vacuum port or shrouding a metering orifice would be bad on either type carburetor.
Verdict: make sure your filters don't block your holes.

In this case you should be ok.

Make sure the snap rings and or any crud isnt in the chamfer of the piston next to the wristpin.
Then put a smaller than the wristpin socket, on the end of a C clamp to press the pin. Use a piece of wood to protect the other side of the piston.
Maybe even drill a hole in the other side of the wood to allow the pin to protrude...

If you can get it to move, it may be enough to coax it out. Just dont get the C clamp stuck...

Progress has been made I jumped balls in and now have a cut up cb on my hands haha :)

I'm very keen to see this one. Keep her light mine loves the twisty stuff but I think the lighter the better as the 200 's power to weight isn't as great as her 360 sisters.

Cool build man, nice to see a youngun getting into bikes early. Lucky youve got a dad thats willing to help.

That being said if you leave that bandana on the headlight I will hunt you down and bitch slap you.
