Hay guys

I'm currently stuck on my cb200 tear down the swing arm bolt is stuck and I'm open to suggestions as to how to get her off I'm currently using wd-40 and am about to start heat any other sugestions?

And I'm also thinking I'll need a new one when I'm done getting it off. Could any one tell me where I could source one ???

Thanks

Swinger bolts are a tight fit.
What I do is take the nut off one end, then get a 2x4, put that on the end with no nut and then smack the shit out of the other side (of the 2x4) with a BFH repeatedly. It will eventually move out the other side.

Also wd40 wont help, get a penetrating oil, like PB blaster of Seafoam Deep Creep.

i ran into the same issue with my CB200 teardown. Tried PB blaster, tried heating the living shit out of it with a torch, beating the piss out of it with a big hammer- basically tried everything. You aren't going to like what I have to say, but I ended up having to literally cut the swingarm out in pieces, and even then I had a bitch of a time getting the pieces of leftover bolt out of there. The bolt was literally fused in place. I ended up picking up another swingarm locally.

Thanks guys I will have to look into the penetrating oil I'm hoping that will work as I'm not too keen on the whole new swing arm idea but that me be a last resort

I'll give it a go

Thanks

Does the bolt spin? Hopefully it's cold where you are.........I think heat might just expand the bolt in the bushings. Dip it in some snow for a while?
