CB350 Built by a teen (Weld Now, Grind Later)

Ive seen the bike, well parts that could be a bike.
Give the guy a break, at least this has not ended like so many other threads with a CL add or zero updates.
 
Could be going for Guinness world record?
(although I think I read about a 35 yr 'restoration)?)
 
To be honest, some of my projects took longer than this one, but don't tell anyone.
 
I already mentioned my re-phased big bore long rod XS650 has taken YEARS longer than this.
When I started working on 860cc/Honda rod conversion it was totally innovative, now, you can buy a re-phase cam and ignition because they are 'common', plus completely new 750 block and pistons
 
SShhhh Im just happy that no one pointed out the fact that I bought my CB750F in 06, I think....it was a long time ago....
 
I did about 400 miles on XS before I pulled it apart, dont know how many miles on the various 360 motors and more on the Katana
It's easy to have so many projects they all stall out ::)

I was bangin my head and getting some, Loooong before your Dad was bangin your Mom.
Band members I liked are fucking dead now. I could get a Qrtr Pounder for $90, sell 3 for $30 and keep the free one. Crazy shit came on little squares of paper with cartoon characters printed on it and there were these teeny tiny mico-dots that made you laugh at everything. Don't even get me going on why the fuck they took Ludes away.
Ain't all it's cracked up to be...been clean almost 20 years now... I'm lucky to be here today. ::)

Part of me just wants to buy it off him and give it a merciful death.

All that said....beaver do you have time to do contract work?
 
Dont make to much fun of him, his story is the same as many past present and future newbies.
Saving grace is he is still actually working, not just off to find an easier bandwagon
 
I'm just messing...I think prolly just bit off to much on first build. Was an epic read...anyone have movie rights? I'm thinking "failure to launch 2".

From what I've read this is ON TOPIC and really the lifeblood of the thread! :)

My other movie idea was "torque-less"...though not sure it could be any worse than the original...Or if I can spring board off my first idea...."Failure to WRENCH!"

Hahaha... David is off in the world of the rich and famous. Driving his vintage BMW and extolling the virtues of post modernist art and Egyptian cotton bath robes. Too good for us hoodlums and our low class bikes.
