CB350 Built by a teen (Weld Now, Grind Later)

Re: CB350 Built by a teen (don't forget the coolant)

Rode my buddies sv1000 the other day and i can honestly say for my own personal safety i will not be getting one of those any time soon. I pulled the front tire off the ground without even trying to.. Scary fast in the low rpms for a sport bike. I would get in trouble instantly.

Should change his avatar signature to: "Long after I rest, my project will live on...: Ha!

I have heard of frame off car restorations taking this long, but never something like this!

I can relate...I helped a friend change the rear tire on his Yamaha R1, and he said wanna take it for a ride? I took it up to the top of 3rd gear on Sidaway in Richmond BC. F#ckin ridiculous!

LOL, dats funny dat is ;D

I've still got him beat with my re-phased XS800, been about 8 yrs so far ;D (although it did run once but I wasn't happy and stripped it down, including separating crank/flywheels ::) )
I did build a non re-phased 800cc motor though and run that 5~600 miles (then took that apart for some modification)

Jeez, leave it out guys .......... you'll miss the Buffy and Beave show when it's done, in about 3 years.
I enjoy this thread. Rocan's a good lad.
A year ago, I'd never have guessed that he would be getting bailed out by a demon welder, and well, still screwing up.
