Frame and engine stripped

New battery box using recycled strap and latch. Going with stacks.

Mocking up the pan in prep for glass.

Clear coating the tank as-is...raw.

Something tells me a new chain is in order.

Frame painted with epoxy gloss black.

How did you make the tank look like that? What's the best way of doing this? Did you sand with a machine?

I media blasted it with #8 fine glass bead, sanded with 1000, stained with a little coffee stain, torched it a bit, applied clear primer (adhesion promoter) and then 5 coats of engine clear (fuel resistant).

Yeah, right behind the Old Battleground Academy. Small world! Franklin is Mecca! What ya move to Ark for?? I have lots of family in the Jonesboro/Paragould area.
