cb350 cam seal help

Hey all, I have been scouring various forums and cannot find an answer to my problem. I am attempting to change the cam seal, but I cannot get to it! I have taken off the points, but cannot get the advance mech out. Everything I read states it should just slide off, but mine didn't. I cranked the engine until it slightly moves out, but then seems to ge hitting some thing that prevents it from coming out farther. Any suggestions?

did you loosen the bolt at the end? theres a part on it that interlocks with the advance mech.

You might have to soak it in PB Blaster or other penetrating oil and let it sit for a little.
