cb350, can only engague 1st and neutral. Plus Kick start issues. HELP

To start with I've been have a few issues with the bike only running on one cylinder which i've finally fixed.

But now I've got issues with the kick start. The Bike starts on the first kick, but the lever goes past the vertical position, and you can even see wear markes on the engine case where the kick start lever locking nut is rubbing.


So I though I might be able to remove the leaver and repossition it on the spindal, anti clockwise. (the center punch on the spindal and lever now don't line up) THIS DID NOT FIX MY PROBLEM. and also reqired hamering to remove leaver.

Now when I try to ride the bike, it only engage first gear. All the gears were prevouly working. I'm not sure if this problem is linked.................

Bump bump, I'm going over to the bike from another play to fix this....

So I drained the oil and cracked open the right hand silde engine/ clutch case and this is what I found:

Broken part

Resting the brocken part back in it original position

So whats the next stage......... Do anyone think this is repairable (weldable?), I guessing ideally I would need a new crank case.

had the same problem. bought another case sorry hadnt seen this post earlier
