cb350 damage to crank case, fixable???

I have damaged my crank case, Which intern let to my gears stoped changing..........

Anyway does this look repairable or do I need a new one?

It can be repaired, but usually the cost of repair is the same as a used one from eBay. If you go the repair route, find a guy with some decent TIG skills and experience with these kind of things. Something like that breaking while you're on the moving is not good.

In the first image you can see the missing pices lodged behind the 'kick stater peg'.

I was thinking about tig weding (I know a tig welder ), or might just wait until I find a replacment part in holland... :-o

My only concern about welding is this part gets a hammering from the 'kick starter peg'

I think I broke this while trying to fix a few kick lever issuse. would the bike run without this part?????
