An English Man in Holland
Hey guys, after a year of 'umming and arring' if I really needed a 3rd bike :p + 2 days tiring to set up at account, (Thanks Tim you help was appreciated) I'm here for some help and guidance. :D

My main bike at home, not that I'm around much, is a little custom Ducati monster. I just love the sound of the L-twin.

In the future I'm sure I will have a few questions to ask.... So here she is

Anyway slightly sidetracking below is a pic of a really sweet cb450, what made me want to get a little cafe racer in the first place. If I can get my bike to look half as good I will be happy.

Welcome, you have a Euro spec CB350 with different lights and fenders than us North Americans.

Thanks DrJ

Yer I realised my fenders was different, in the future I plan to remove it or chop it. But I would feel bad chopping down rear, as it's got some nice curves and looks unique 9no probs with chopping the front).

I've actually been looking though and old post of yours trying to decide what exhaust options to do, I will start a new post.

Hi,

Your 350 looks to be in such nice shape, if it were my bike I would not do anything radical. The 450 pic you posted looks really sweet but I like to do that sort of thing only with a bike that has ratty body parts. I would change bars, exhaust, signals (or eliminate them) get a nice custom aluminum swing arm, alloy rims, rear sets. A bump seat (with an upholstered bump would look cool. Just my thoughts.

Brain, I know what you mean about doing any thing radical. But to start.........
Definitely plan to change the exhaust, Also the signals (love those singals on that cb450) and tail light (either an LED that fits just under the seat or onto the rear fender)

The seat in petty good condition so I will hold of changing it, but would go for a more low profile look, with a small hump at the back if I do.

No plans to fit new rear set as I will be riding 2 up with that lady.

if your gonna go chopping the fenders i would suggest getting a set of USA spec ones and keep the euros untouched.
you can have the rear one from my 550 if it will fit

If I chop the fender it will only be the front one.

I'm currently away from the bike, but will look into turning the refector on the fender into a rear light (still might need to add a 2nd light)
