CB350 Tank capacity?

Of this tank:

I'd like to know the full capacity, and the amount of reserve. Why? Well, I think(think) I ran into the reserve today, but then only filled it with 2.5 gallons. Maybe it's a 3.5 tank with a 1 gallon reserve? I have no idea, never really thought about it! Anybody have any info?

I think that is correct, the tank is a 3.5 gallon and the reserve is set at 1 gallon. You can probably cut about an 1 inch off the reserve tube, to lower the reserve to about 1/2 gallon or just completely removing it. My old petcock had the reserve tube cut, so I realldy didn't have a reserve.
