CB350 -- The Wife Frustrater--

Just wanted to get my build out and show what I am doing to my CB350. I have owned a few bikes in the past but never modded them this much. So here it is.

Started out with a clean completely stock 71' CB350. Not a bad little bike. Did a few of the electronics mods like the rectifier and dyna coils.

My intention when I bought was to cafe it. So it begins. Made my mold pattern and started glassin. (Not sure why the pic is sideways. It doesn't look like that on the host website.)

Under seat electronics. Pretty basic and rough. Future plans here. But it works.

Add some paint, some polish, clipon's, smaller headlight, removed various non-essential pieces. And Viola!

Just to note, all painting, glass work and metal work was done myself.

And, already updates. The bike stayed this way for about 6 months. I never really like the end of the tail and didn't really have a good option for a brake light. So, I redid the entire rear frame and everything underneath. Also swapped out the front forks for with a single disc setup for a nice clean look.

Here's a few pics. More updates to follow as I progress. Hoping to have this done by May 15th so I can take it to the American National Vintage show in Denton, NC.

Chopped the rear frame off and came up with this.

Today I spend forming the tail/brake light. Did this in the kitchen oven and island. Wife wasn't too thrilled. But, we know how that works.

And, the trial fit with some metal blending and fitting..etc..

Some more work on the tail today. Built the housing and part of the battery holder. The whole housing unbolts from underneath the seat fender so it can be serviceable. Got everything pretty much lined up. Just need some red lense paint and some seal material.
