cb350 twin clutch

I did try searching before I posted this and could not find anything. Today when I took my 73 cb350 g for a test ride I noticed I only have about 3/4 - 1 inch of travel from the clutch not being engaged to fully engaged. I've tried adjusting it multiple times and have gotten the same results. My first question is that normal? If not should I replace the cable, springs, plates? Other than that the bike ran pretty good, I just have to put a bigger main jet as it was running lean at 3/4 or so throttle.

Sounds fine to me. As long as it's easy enough to ride, it's normal and OK.

Thanks for the information. I just thought I'd have more control than 3/4 inch of cable movement from not being engaged to fully engaged. I definately wouldn't say it was easy to ride. It was a pain from a dead stop but was easy to change gears once it was moving.
