Cb350 Twin Parts Help

Been Around the Block
One of my stock carbs no longer has a mixture screw/spring. Not sure where it went or where to get a new one ???. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them!

Also, if anyone is aware of the most affordable place to get mikuni vm30s and can let me know I'd appreciate it. I don't want to buy a million rebuild kits or full carbs just to fix the originals and have it still run like crap 80% of the time. I'd rather bite the bullet if I can find mikunis affordably and jetted properly.

ebay has a pretty good listing... look for 'sporting for less'

set of 2 VM32's and cable/filters/throttle housing. Not a bad price.

FWIW: I have 30's on mine, wish I'd gotten 32's- Motor is far from stock, and after LOTS of mods to the carbs, it runs fairly decent. 32's would have made that process easier.

Call the guys at Dime City Cycles. they can get you whatever you want. I don't know what I would do without them.

Hey bud. I have a set stock carbs that you can pull parts off of if needed. You can find decent rebuildable vm30s on ebay if you search for snowmobile parts. BUT they will need rebuilt... Youre looking at at least $300+ for a set of plug and play vm30s, more if you want the cable and whatnot thats needed.

Sporting for less uses jetting which is way too rich, there are multiple posts in multiple forums about it.
They usually come with 190 main and 38~45 pilot
I have no idea why you think 32's would be easier to jet?
They are in fact much more difficult to jet as the air velocity through them is too low, bigger isn't always better (FWIW, Honda used 29mm carbs on racers)
30's are plenty of carb for a 350, even when highly modified.
The primary choke needle jets work on racebikes because the air velocity is lower than it should be, on the street you find all sorts of problems when engine is going rich/lean as throttle is opened or maintained at steady position.
Get with VonYinzer for the parts you need

I heard that about 32s. I heard not to get anything other than 30s for the 350. Also, I'll only by the 30s and probably from DCC when I come into a bit of dough. Thanks guys for your advice. I'll hit up von for the other set of carbs.
