CB350 with Intermittent spark issue

Hi,

I just got my tires and tubes installed today with the help of a friend, the problem is now I have a misfire issue, and I am not quite sure where the issue is coming from. The following is what I know:
-New NGK Plugs set to proper gap
-Point cleaned and gapped properly according to the Clymer Manual
-Timing set recently set
-Spark intermittent on left side via inline spark tester
-Plug wires appear to be OK
-Ignition seems to be goofed up as the key wouldn't shut the bike off, and the bike could be started in either run or accesory, then all of a sudden it went back to normal, it look like some wires have been taped up running to the ignition so maybe at some point in it life the wires chaffed. So, maybe a wire broke inside.

We had it running really well and all of a sudden this happened and choked out the bike after a 10 minute ride
Got it going with a strong spark again and as soon as we took off out of the driveway it hiccupped again
So what am I looking at here, possibly a bad coil?

It could be a bad coil. Sometimes they stop firing after they get hot. But my guess would be the ignition timing. If this happened after you set your timing, then maybe you should start by rechecking your points gaps. If you still suspect the coil, try switching it to the other side. If the problem persists on the opposite cylinder, then it's definitely the coil.

Strangely enoughs I took apart the ignition switch since it was acting goofy as mentioned, the contacts were covered in gritty black goo, I understand this probably was at one time dielectric grease so I cleaned it up with a rag and a little emery cloth on the contacts, plugged it back in and both cylinders now fire. I put 23 miles on it without one hiccupp, I really don't know why this fixed it but it did. However, I have now lost all my turn signals, but I haven't got the chance to check them over yet. When I got the bike the turn signals were off the bike and I reinstalled them, it was not to long after this that the bike started missfiring, related problem, I don't know? Maybe the wiring is all goofy, or something is grounding out? I followed the wiring diagram the best I could, but the inside of the headlight bucket was a mess, and the ground for the right turn signal was all taped off, possibly for reason I now suspect. Any help would be appreciated.
