cb350k exhaust options

I love my ducati monster because it make an awesome sound.
I'm looking to get some after market exhausts for my cb350k to show off it full character on the twin, and sharpen up the back end. I'm think a set of reverse-cone megaphone mufflers should do the job I'm not sure weather to go 2 in 1 or stick with 2 - 2, which I actually prefer. But worried about loss of back pressure with the openness of them.

I know it a Yam, but this is the kind of exhausts I'm thinking.

I have a MAC 2-1 that I love. I removed the baffle and modified it to be like the competition baffle that they used to sell. Got the idea from forum member alphadogchoppers. He actually posted a how to on it. It's got just the right amount of grunt.

You get a deeper sound if you use exhaust packing to absorb the high frequencies and make sure you have correct diameter outlet pipe.
For a CB350, it only needs to be about one inch diameter but that looks too small so use inch and half with arestrictor ring on small taper end
BTW, XS doesn't look right with silencers pointing down, they need a slight up tilt or at least level

Thanks JP. Thats really good to know, would a estrictor ring be easy to fit to any exhaust?

At the minuite i'm looking at going down the cheap option of getting some universal megaphones from ebay, unless you guys think is a big no no. One of the European sellers has a web site and I found a few options.

Look at the normal univeral muffles there around 16"/17", I think I might need a small extension in the pipe with these........?

They also do a more expensive, Megaphone Type Motorcycle Silencer 16" (id:35-38mm), but dont really understand why its twice the price.

I'm still away from the bike, does anyone know the length of a standard exhaust, (as I would quite like to get bit before im home). Also the diameter of the downpipe?

Thanks
