20w@ nominal12v is only about 1.7 amps. (1.666*)
A 60/55 H4 bulb would be 5amps on high beam although usually a litle less as voltage is never 12 but should be closer to 13.5
Charging system can just about keep up if you ride around at 8,000rpm or more (keep motor very near red line at all times)
I use 35/35 H4 as they are readily available since Chinese scooters started using them ~10 yrs ago
I guess I should read all the posts to see whats going on ;D

I'm highly likely to go with and LED Headlamp to take some more load of the charging system... they are getting pretty cheap now at $20-60 If you don't mind a fan on the cheaper stuff.

Wow, that's a heck of a price drop.
They were around $200 last time I checked.
I'm not sure lowering power requirements too far is a good thing though? Alternator is still going to 'push out' power so regulator/rectifier will run hotter if there is too much 'reserve'

$55 from our site. 20W draw and throws light a long way down the road.

Plan to order one when I get back in town. My Triumph might need one too... though it's likely to get a stator upgrade so probably not required.
