cb360 Float Valve Seat

Does anybody have a good method for removing the float valve seat out of the carb?

My carbs were horrific when I got the bike. I put a lot of work into cleaning them and they came out pretty decent. I'm still going to be rebuilding them. When I get my jet kits in, I do want to replace the float valve seat (which I believe comes in the K&L kit). So, I opened them up yesterday to prep them, and those float valve seats seem like they're in there pretty good. It seems that there's not a really good way to grab onto them, too. They're kind of surrounded by stuff.

I'm sure I could get messy and get them out, but I thought I'd see if someone had a tip first.

Thanks.

I did one last night.
Tried usual gripping with pliers, no go, distorted because I had to put so much pressure on it. (never had that happen before)
I ran a 6x1mm tap into it then used a 6mm bolt with a piece of tube to draw it out.
If you have new shut off valves, just make sure they will fit through tube
It was so easy I thought threads had stripped out

Good idea. That crossed my mind, but I hadn't measured them to see what would work. Although my tap is not a bottoming tap, so I hope I can get enough grab. I'll give it a shot....
