CB360 Mikuni carb conversion throttle cable hookup.

I'm installing a set of mikuni carbs on my CB360 project. Will I need a different throttle housing for the single pull cable? I hooked it up to my stock housing but it doesn't seem to snap back like it should. It will "work" like it is but it doesn't seem right.

The mikuni springs is what makes it snap back. Check your cable routing, as that is the likely culprit. No tight bends or kinks, especially coming directly out of the carbs. It's been a minute since my last 360 build, so I can't remember exactly where the carb tops line up with the frame.

Don't use stock Honda cable routing, run cables down left side of frame then between top engine plates for right carb
IIRC, the carb tops are too close to tank and need a metal tube to work properly, I made some from 1/8" brake tubing as 'stock' 90 degree bend was too 'open'
It's part of the reason I gave up on fitting VM's to 360's and modify stock carbs to work with K&N new exhaust
