Hey everyone. New to the forums. I currently have a 1974 CB360 project going. I bought it off of a guy who is a member here. I start turning wrenches on it today and I'm super stoked. I look forward to getting a bunch of info from the forums.

Welcome to DTT man. Looks like a solid start to a build. Make sure to start a build thread so we can follow along.

Excellent...btw whod you buy it from so I can delete that bookmark as I add yours.
Hmmm looked through some older builds...did you get it from "thedyingninja"? nosepicker maybe?

I found it on CL and he told me about DTT. But I didn't get his screen name on here unfortunately. Is there an ad for it on here as well? I'll be on here quite a bit, as this is my first build, so anyone with a 360, feel free to hit me up with any advice you guys have. I'll need it. I'm actually out of killeen, but not too many people know it.

Not I, still lurking around Trek. I've just been working on my ride quietly, as I don't have a phone (aka camera) anymore. Welcome aboard though sir, where are you located in the Austin area? Seeing as we have the same bike, beer time sounds reasonable.

Its great to hear your still working on your project. Have a buddy snap a couple pics next time you get the chance and post em on your thread. Hows your bike coming along?

Lots of body work on my old beat up tank, fresh paint, and a single throttle cable now instead of the old 2-2 I had. Nothing off the charts like some of the builds floating around... ;)

Any progress ?

Hey, Trek. I am getting parts piece by piece for birthday/Christmas..got a new fiberglass seat, new chain, and getting round 2 of parts when I go to Florida to visit the in laws for Christmas. I ran into an issue with my carbs. Tried to rejet and clean the set I have. Unfortunately, the threads are so corroded I was unable to rejet.
So, I'm on the lookout for carbs but with a baby on the way, I can't be into em too much. Cosmetic wise, she sits the same unfortunately..

Nice bike. Im looking to get back to Austin as soon as freaking possible. I got stationed in Northwest Florida and it sucks. Im in the desert now but Ive got a bike to build when I get home. When I move back to ATX Ill see about looking you up for a ride.

Babies do come before bikes...I understand completely. If you can manage just an hour or two a week. you will be doing fine. things will go slow but thats ok. Itll be done before you know it. Just keep on keepin on.
