Brakes are overrated anyway. Just put steel braided, rebuild and be happy with it. It isn't a race bike.

Come back and say that again when some just-licensed tween pulls out in front of you and you have to do an emergency stop. Brakes aren't overrated and it's worthwhile to look into improvements for any bike, but especially CBs.

Gweenz, you oughta fab up a Z bracket for your speedo. Drops it down so it's nice and flush with the speedo. Real easy and looks great. Can't find a picture of one right now, but I can explain if need be.

I like to see a picture of that if you have one. The current mount is just a hack, it's using the stock gauge mount but I modified it. I do like the angle that it's at though, its pointing directly at my eyes when I'm riding it.
