CB360 Questions about stainless brake lines +

I have been trying to finish my front brake update and wanted to install stainless lines now rather than wasting brake fluid later on. Im wondering what lengths people have used when going to drag bars or clip on's? Has anyone bypassed the front brake indicator and ran it straight to the brakes hardline or the brake itself? Dumb idea? I thought it may be easier and keep a nice clean look. Im also wondering the name of the connection on the lower line that the hardline screws into? I need to know what to ask for when ordering. Maybe they will know what I need but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask here first. I don't need racing brake lines so is there a place that offers some fair prices on some adequate lines? Thanks in advance.
 
I bought my stainless lines from Wesmoto in England.
Measure what length you want, tell them the bike it's for and they'll custom make for no extra charge.
My line from the master to brake splitter was around 100mm shorter and it's perfect.
Not advertising for them but they are cheaper than everyone else
 
slipstream cycle makes them, he's in maryland, so pretty close. you do need to be very careful about measuring though, especially when you're changing the bars.

We offer Spiegler & HEL custom brake lines. In virtually every color option. The one thing I like about about the Spiegler lines the best is that the banjos you are able to rotate which is great for custom lines and avoids any slight twisting of the lines to make them fit.

Looks great. Can a person eliminate the three way joint and run a cable direct from master cylinder to the caliper? what the purpose of the hard line? Whats the purpose of the three way joint? Sorry, I have no idea why things are done on motorcycles, still learning. lol

Are you talking about the brake pressure switch? That junction on the fork lower with the wires in it? That's your brake light switch...actuated by brake pressure. If you eliminate that, you will need to figure out another way to turn on your brake light (new master with micro switch installed, or be very crafty)

Just replace the stock banjo bolt at the master with the pressure switch.

I installed the two piece stainless steel line kit on my 360, but I'm staying stockish. It made a big difference in brake feel and really reduced stopping distance.
 
That looks like a great idea but I had a hell of a time getting the wires out of my bars, I can't imagine what it's going to be like putting them back in. There's no way I would dare add any more wires.lol
 
Derp, I forgot that the wires on the 360 go through the bars for a moment there. You could run them down parallel with the brake line to make them neat...
